The Funeral Directors & Morticians Association of North Carolina, Inc. (FD&MA of NC, INC.) is a non-profit professional organization, comprised of proficient licensees, dedicated to promoting professional development amongst its members through education, legislative advocacy and networking opportunities.
The FD&MA of NC is divided into five(5) districts -- Cape Fear, Central, Eastern, Piedmont, and Western.

To provide a meeting place for its members, to encourage and promote the study of mortuary science among its members through lectures and study courses. To encourage its members to read the latest magazines and papers written on the subject of mortuary science, and to encourage them to assemble for the purpose of mutual helpfulness to one another.
