Mr. William Thomas Johnson, Sr., 62, of Charlotte, died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital.
The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at Ebenezer Baptist Church on West Sugar Creek Road.
Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Reeder Memorial Baptist Church on Beatties Ford Road.
Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was the affiliated with Metrolina Funeral Home, Charlotte, NC.

Grace Narvell Becton Dove, 86, of the Pembroke Community of New Bern died Monday, June 14, 2010. Grace was a co-founder and owner of Oscar's Mortuary, Inc. since 1960. 

Her service will be conducted 12:00 PM, Thursday, June 17, 2010 at St. Peter's A. M. E. Zion Church with the Reverend Millard Davis, Officiating. The interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Dove was the mother of state member William "Sonny" Dove and grandmother of state member Tiffany Dove.

Mrs. June McLaurin Jeffers, CFSP, 38th Past National President of  the NFD&MA, Inc. and owner of McLaurin Funeral Home, Reidsville, NC, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010.  The funeral service will be held at 2pm, Saturday,   April 24, 2010 at First Baptist Church, 401 Hubbard Street, Reidsville, NC.  Interment at Greenview Cemetery, Reidsville, NC.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 from 11:00am - 7:00pm at McLaurin Funeral Home, 721 E. Moreland St., Reidsville, NC and Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm at the church.

Mrs. Fannie Strickland Dafford, of 700 E. Harnett Street, Dunn, died Friday, March 5, 2010. She was the co-founder of Dafford Funeral Home of Dunn and Angier, NC.,a retired educator with the Harnett County Public School System and a State Life Member of the FDMANC, Inc.

She was the wife of State Life Member Walter Dafford and mother of Dallas Dafford, Past President of the FDMANC, Inc.
